1. Vessel phases (static state bundles)

Four hosts carrying each data-spw-cauldron-state phase token. CSS must render each distinctly with no JS present.

2. Atom grammar (operator × operand)

Operand-bearing atoms show the binding seam; bare operators read as open valences (italic, dimmed). Combinatoric probe: [data-spw-op~="operator:frame"].

Chips below are authored as fused text; with JS the sigil-anatomy module wraps .spw-sigil/.spw-operand with spacing preserved (inspect to compare raw source vs hydrated DOM — zero layout shift is the contract). Without JS the fused text is the reading.

Disposition physics (container determines payload)

The same chip under each disposition. Charge pulls inward, discharge radiates, reference points (dotted), dereference resolves (solid).

2a. Effect vocabulary (one table, one source)

Verbs per operator role from OPERATOR_AFFORDANCES in kernel/shared.js. Bold rows are Spwashi-given vocabulary; the rest are intent-derived drafts awaiting tuning. Atom tooltips read from the same table.

2b. Contour anatomy (static)

A contour is a compound expression painted over an article; the brace type is the semantic slot. Parser: parseContourExpression in kernel/shared.js. The painting overlay itself is gated design work — this specimen documents the grammar only.

3. Effect ledger residue

With JS: the buttons below seed and read window.spwEffects; the <html> element carries data-spw-effects="count:n last:kind". Without JS this section stays prose — the ledger is residue, never load-bearing.

4. Decompose walkthrough (the gated demo)

1. Hold-prime any living term or brace on a content route to gather ingredients.
2. Save a working set from the spell dock (checkpoint).
3. Press $ decompose on the saved bundle card: its registry re-enters the cauldron through spell:capture.
4. Confirm the vessel phase bundle advances and the ledger records spell-decomposed.

This walkthrough is the promotion gate for the decompose verb: it must feel like reopening a draft, not replaying a log.

5. Wander spells (QA as a walk)

The team checks the site by walking it. Each spell below is one walk: a place to go, one thing to carry, one verb to cast on arrival, and the crack this path tends to find. The seed is the spell's name, so two people who cast the same spell walk the same ground and can compare what they saw.
