I'm Spwashi. I build software and make art. This page is how I find work, how I pass along work I can't do alone, and how I let new collaborators find the right door.
There are three registers here, and they serve different people. Each leads to a resting point where you can think without commitment, then follow a link into the next most useful page.
- What I build directly — cover design, illustration, ebook formatting, web systems, consulting, QA. Split across creator work and systems work, with the tools page for reusable self-description and planning.
- Who I can connect you with — an ecosystem of authors, editors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and makers. Referrals without losing the thread, and a useful ramp for someone still early in their career path.
- How I keep the work honest — care practices that precede and accompany the commercial work: journaling, community, movement, reading. Therapy if those aren't enough, plus the mental health topic when you want the broader context first.

Custom & Hybrid Quotes
Most real work doesn't fit a pre-priced box. If your project blends a creator need with a systems need, or sits between two tiers, say so.
Send a rough sketch — a paragraph is plenty. Include what you're trying to make, what you've tried, and any constraint that matters (budget, deadline, team). I'll reply with an honest scope and a number or range within a few release cycles. If the project is a fit, I usually prefer payment up front or at the start of a phase; that keeps upbeat coordination from turning into unpaid project management.

Expectation: honest scoping over aggressive selling. Upfront payment is often the cleanest way to cover coordination, preparation, and the psychological load of keeping momentum visible. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so and pass you to someone in the ecosystem.
Release Cadence
Release days are the 13th and 26th of each month. Twenty-four releases a year — one step more than nothing.
If you're starting a project and don't know how to pace it, you're welcome to borrow the rhythm. Two intentional steps a month is modest and cumulative. I ship on those days whether or not anyone is watching, which means contracts anchored to them have real landmarks.

Ask Card
Sometimes the work requires supplies, time, or simple human support. This card is for asks that sit outside the commercial register.

Support the Work
