Scope, Methods, and the Right Room
Licensed counselors work within a scope of practice, and so does this site: it can talk about attention and learning, and it cannot treat anyone. Two methods inform how it speaks. Cognitive behavioral therapy tests the thoughts that drive feelings. Motivational interviewing draws out a person’s own reasons for change. And when you need more than a page, 988 is the right room: call or text 988 in the U.S. Licensed counselors are among the family members who have reviewed my laminated folios as the process has developed since 2024.
